My gf and her friend and I had a great time at Gem yesterday! I had the moussaka which was delicious, and they had the meat platter; the meat was very tasty, with generous portions. The service was excellent; the waiters were very attentive and kind. The cocktails were brilliant as well! Highly recommended! See you again soon

Having moved to Cromer a few months ago we were delighted to find this amazing restaurant just outside the railway station. After a very warm welcome we were shown to a lovely table and experienced a truly brilliant meal. The atmosphere, food and service were outstanding, and at a reasonable price. We will be hopping on a train for a visit again very soon.

We had a great meal at Gem Turkish Restaurant. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. The octopus dish, in particular, was absolutely outstanding – easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. My only complaint? The remix of Creep by Radiohead that came on during our meal – a complete travesty to music! But even that couldn’t spoil an otherwise excellent evening. Highly recommended.

We went to this eatery last year and had such a memorable meal We booked ahead and once again had another delicious experience We ordered babaganoush hummus and taramasalata to start. The hummus could have done with more seasoning and tahini as it was the least tasty of the 3 dips. The dips only came with 4 halves of pita bread and we had to ask for more twice We ordered the grilled octopus and lamb gems special with burnt aubergine and our friends the lamb shish and the short beef We couldn’t eat all the mains and took it home. The restaurant was happy to supply take away boxes. Service was a bit cold to start but our waiter did warm up We had a most enjoyable meal and would return

Best Turkish Mediterranean restaurant I been so far in Norwich. From the begging till the end everything was fantastic. The quality of food just delicious. Exceptional service from Sheriff. Highly recommend to everyone, especially cold platter to share and mix grill platter. Good value for money. Definitely will be back.

Trip to Norwich for a bite to eat. Stunning food served up by attentive staff. Cold starter was delicious... kept the dips for the main. Mixed meat platter for two... four more like. Beautifully cooked meat selection on rice and couscous and vegetable side. Will definitely be having it again!

We had a lovely meal this evening with very attentive service. Despite being a party of 10, we got our food quickly and had a lovely experience. Sherif was very friendly and helpful as our server. I was really impressed by how easy it was for my dietary requirements (dairy free) to be accommodated, despite us all having the set menu. It was really kind of the kitchen to provide me with separate mezze starters without yoghurt as well as a different dessert. We all really enjoyed the food- although some of us couldn't quite finish the generous portions portions! We will definitely be back

We went there for lunch and had Kleftiko and mix seafood tawa. The lamb was excellent and the seafood was quite good too. The service was fine as well. The ambience is fine, but the decor and the music feel out of place with the menu somehow. The place is also a bit expensive, with 10% service charge on top of the menu prices.
